FREEDOM OF WILL

Everybody has a WILL, but due to circumstances, experiences and association some have buried theirs. Our WILL is what makes us human; choosing to do things when we want and how we choose. I believe the human will is the best gift God has given man

Living without a ‘choice’ is what makes you a victim and a casualty. Hanging out with people who consciously or unconsciously kill your WILL is your greatest undoing. To my mind, there is no better way to know that you are in an ungodly relationship like when you have lost your will. A relationship were you don’t have a voice or a say is simply an unhealthy and ungodly one. If God, your creator, has given you the power of choice in your daily living, then you ought to have ‘freedom of will’ even in your relationships. The almighty God has the influence and muscle to compel us to serve Him alone, but yet He gave us choice. Nobody should drive their perspective to life down your throat, because there is no one way to looking at issues. We all see things different, that’s why we all deserve to be heard.

Question is, what are the implications of ‘Freedom of WILL’? Looking intensely at God’s gift of a wife He gave the first man and the ensuing FREE WILL He has given every other man to ‘choose’ a wife for himself, then we can deduce some of the implications of ‘FREEDOM OF WILL’:

Your WILL makes you ACCOUNTABLE for your actions, your WILL makes you LEARN FASTER from your mistakes, your WILL helps you effectively UTILIZE YOUR EXPERIENCE for the profiting of your future and your WILL gives you a VOICE in the midst of other people. Perceptibly, you can figure out what lack of WILL can reduce any individual to. The proof of a functioning mind is seen in the manifestation of our WILL.

God has given every human being the power of WILL. Even the little child whom you feel shouldn’t be given a voice equally has the ‘freedom of will’; better still, the power of choice. As a wise parent, you ought to counsel and guide your child aright, and leave him/her to make their choice. When you become imposing, you are robbing that child of a confident and a responsible future.

The worst thing that can happen to any person is to hang around opinionated people; there is the likelihood you will start living their life and living at their pace. Quite frankly, most parents today are trying to re-live their lives through their children’s lives, thus cheating their children of living their own lives. This is where purpose is lost, failure and lack of contentment becomes real in one’s life.

Your WILL is a gift from God to you. The more you walk with God, the more your WILL is aligned to His WILL for you. The devil can work through our WILL to make us lose God’s agenda for our lives. Sometimes, our WILL can be self-destructing and compelling, but the more we yield to the almighty God, the more we learn the power of compromise; seeing things through His eyes and letting go of ours for His, only then can we maximize our destiny and live a 100% fulfilled life.

Do have a most fruitful day. Grace and speed!
